Jesus is Risen

Matt. 28: 5-10...Jesus surely died and rose; and all this was for you and I.
Jesus' Crucifixion and Resurrection meant a lot to various categories of people.

To Peter, this meant that His denial of Christ could be turned into absolute dedication of His life to Christ. Peter also learnt that he would not rely on his own, not to deny Christ. Rather, it is only God that can enable him not to deny Christ..

To the apostles at large, the resurrection of Christ meant that they now had a message of triumph for the world. They now could go out and declare in strength and courage that Jesus died and rose, and that they witnessed it all.

This resurrection Sunday, we have learnt that thanks to the eye witnesses that experienced Jesus crucifixion and resurrection, we got to hear about the good news of salvation. We are charged hereby in the same light; as we have known Jesus Christ as our Lord, we ought to be witnesses of Him with all our being. In-other-words, we are to be a gospel of Christ.

What does the Easter story imply to you? and how are you challenged by the greatest love story?
